  • Alberto J. Sabucedo, MD, PhD

    MD

Although Dr. Sabucedo knew at a young age that he wanted to be a doctor, he had a career in chemistry before several life experiences motivated him to go back to school and study medicine. “My father was a doctor. During my childhood, I had a lot of exposure to the profession,” he says. “Chemistry allowed me to help patients in a lab setting, and as a doctor, in inpatient and outpatient settings. During my medical residency I worked with senior patients, especially the senior veteran population at the VA Hospital. Seniors are the most engaging patients, and also the most compliant with medical treatment. I treat my patients like I would treat my own family.”
